I’m always drawn to the thrill of creative exploration – pushing beyond the familiar to uncover new ways of seeing and expressing. Lately, that’s meant working with a freer hand and a more vibrant, intuitive approach to painting. There’s a certain joy in letting go, allowing the work to evolve naturally, with energy and spontaneity at its core. Working fast on several paintings at a time gives me that freedom to experiment.
New this year will be more interiors, inspired by the works of Pierre Bonnard, and contemporary painters, Haidee Jo Summers and Pete Brown.

To me, Shani’s painting style is refreshingly inviting. Her background in fashion brings new approaches to landscape and abstract paintings: exciting color schemes with elements that create a dynamic visual play, both engaging and calming at the same time.
