Dancing to the End
Currently on exhibition at The Jackdaw Gallery in Oundle (contact me for details).
Tulips are so gloriously elegant don’t you agree? I especially love them when they begin to droop so gracefully, it immediately makes me want to paint them – as happened with these purple blooms.
A layered and slightly muted background allows the flowers to take centre stage, flowing from edge to edge as if they are dancing.
ACRYLIC, COLLAGE, OIL PASTEL ON WOOD
73 × 53cm framed in a St Ives painted frame
