The intuitively painted backgrounds were the starting point to this collection of three floral abstracts. Beginning as an exercise in a new limited palette, I used reds and pinks to create a warmer feel… these brought to mind my garden which is a riot of pink blooms in early to late summer. I picked 3 of my favourite flower shapes, loosely painted in white. Set in simple and elegant grey frames, they look wonderful together, or as separate paintings. The framed pictures measure 33.5cm x 33.5cm.
