NEW! Everywhere and Nowhere
I am lucky to live in one of the loveliest bits of the country, and also to be able to wander, looking for inspiration whenever the fancy takes me. I take photos as I go, and sometimes I make sketches to paint, back in my studio. They capture the essence of where I am at that moment in time, the weather, and the feelings I experience. This particular painting depicts a little green lane or ‘drift’ at the back of my house which was overgrown and fenced off… until recently, when we campaigned to have it cleared, and reclaimed it as a public path for walkers once again!
