I’ve loved pomegranates since I was a child, and I remember when they were in season, mum would buy a few. Eating them became a kind of ritual – she would crack them open and pick the seeds out one by one with a cocktail stick and pop them in our mouths.
Nowadays, I’m more likely to eat them in a salad – but I hold on to that funny memory.
