I enjoy painting loosely with lots of texture, and using a palette knife to add paint passages gives that energy I’m after. Evoking walks in Cornwall, seeking out secret coves, this little painting is done from memory. Framed in a simple grey frame, it would look beautiful, along with others from this series, in many modern homes - maybe a seaside themed bathroom or a sunny garden room?
