BARBADOS BOWL
This painting was inspired by the beautiful shape of a hand thrown bowl that I brought back from my first visit to Barbados over 35 years ago. It is still in use every day. The layers of collage and energetic brush strokes give a pleasing textured surface. Look closely, and you’ll see the eye, a whimsical touch of humour in an otherwise classical study.
Framed: 33.5 x 33.5cms. Unframed: 20x20cm
