The Old French Pitcher
The iconic enamel pitcher that has been around for decades, slightly battered and rusting where the enamel has chipped off over the years. This is my go-to now for displaying wild flowers, but for this vibrant still life painting – it’s the shape that delights me. Bold, utilitarian, and endlessly useful, even in its aged condition.
ACRYLIC, OIL PASTEL, COLLAGE
Painted on a wooden panel, set in a sleek float frame, 63 × 63cm
